At least 10 people, including women, were injured in clashes between Pakistani and Afghan forces on the Pak-Afghan border.
According to security officials, there have been clashes between Pakistani and Afghan border forces in Sheikh Lal Mohammad, the Pak-Afghan border, in which Afghan forces have targeted the civilian population again.
Several artillery shells were fired in Bogra and Customs House areas, following which citizens were instructed to evacuate Mall Road, Bogra Road, Bypass, and Border Road, while a state of emergency has been declared at DHQ Hospital Chaman.
Pakistani forces also retaliated strongly and used heavy artillery, officials said.
According to officials, a clash broke out in the Sheikh Lal Mohammad sector after Afghan forces intervened to repair the fence, during which a motorcycle rider was injured in shelling near the border highway, while 10 people, including two women, were injured when several shells fell into the houses.
According to the police, due to tension in the area, there is a heavy traffic jam on The Border Road, Mall Road, and Bogra Road, while the Customs House and Karachi Coach Terminal have been evacuated.
It should be noted that a few days ago, Afghan forces opened fire on the civilian population near the border in Chaman, resulting in the martyrdom of six Pakistani citizens.
